General Policies:

  • Check In Time: 3:00 PM
  • Check Out Time Campsites: 1:00 PM
  • Check Out Time Cottages: 10:00 AM
  • Minimum check-in age is 21 Years Old.
  • Guests aged 18 Years Old and under at the time of check in are considered children.
  • Pets are allowed.
  • The rates displayed do not include any applicable service fees, charges for optional incidentals.
  • For late arrival arrangements, please contact us (518) 654-6630.

Important Information:

  • DO NOT CUT TREES. You may bring your own firewood or purchase it at our store.
  • Quiet hours are 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM. All children should be at their campsite.
  • All visitors to any campsite must register at the office upon entering the campground. Visitor fee’s entitles visitors to use of camp facilities including pool. All registered campers should make advance arrangements to receive their guests. This is for safety issues and knowing that all residents belong in the park.
  • Put all trash in dumpsters by the store or beside restrooms on the hilltop.
  • Report any disturbances immediately to the office.

Checking In/Out

  • Cottage Check-in: 3:00 PM, Check-out: 10:00 AM. Camp Site Check-in 3:00 PM, Check-out time is 1:00 PM.
  • Campsites may be available prior to official check in time. Check with office upon check-in. Damage to any trees, fences, buildings, or equipment must be settled at office before moving your camper from the premises.

Campsite Policies

  • Base Rate: includes up to 2 adults and 2 children, extra person fees apply. Security Deposit: A $50 deposit will be held subject to an approved inspection of cottage check-out. Pet- friendly cottage require a $100 deposit.
  • Do not use any site other than site assigned without office permission.
  • Your site rental allows one camping unit per site. Please check with office before pitching additional tents on your site.
  • Alcoholic beverages are permitted at the campground and pool. Although no glass beverages my leave your campsite. If you consume alcohol please conduct yourself in an orderly fashion.
  • Clothes lines at cottage’s and campsites are prohibited. They prove to be a safety issue for kids running through the campground.
  • One picnic table per campsite please. (If another is needed it can be delivered to your site please make arrangements with the office before check-in.)
  • Park two vehicle’s per campsite. Additional vehicles can park near store or next to the pool.
  • Please leave your site clean when departing.
  • No cash refunds for early departure.

Traveling within the campground

  • DRIVE SLOW, 5 MPH, within the campground. Observe all posted speed limit signs.
  • No bike riding after dark without lights. Please observe New York State Laws regarding helmets.
  • No dirt bikes or off road vehicles. No unlicensed vehicles are permitted in the campground, i.e. motorbikes, Quads, ATVs, etc. Non-licensed persons are prohibited from operation of motor vehicles within the campground.
  • Golf Cart’s are allowed in the campground keep in mind you must still follow the 5 MPH and follow all posted road sings.

Open Fire Policies

 

  • Do not move fire rings or build fires near or under trees.
  • Do not start campfires outside fire rings.
  • Do not burn cans, glass or trash.
  • Burn no wood longer than 2 feet in length.
  • Keep flammable materials away from fire area.
  • Do not set hot grilles or other hot objects on tables.
  • Put out fire upon departure of campsite.

Pets

  • Pets are welcome at any of our campground subject to our pet policies:
    • All pet droppings shall be the responsibility of the pet owner.
    • Never leave pets unattended.
    • A off leash dog park is located by the store.
    • Your pet shall be kept on a short leash. The Town of Corinth Mandates canines must be on a leash.
    • If any pet is creating a disturbance or being a nuisance, the pet shall immediately be removed per the request of campground staff.
    • No more than two pets per site without the prior permission.
    • Visitors of guests are not permitted to bring pets.
    • Children shall not be allowed to walk pets.
    • Pets are not allowed in the swimming or beach area.
  • If you would like to bring a pet to River Road Campground, please have your  pets documents/vaccination record’s with you and available upon request by campground staff.
  • River Road Campground can refuse to allow any pet onto the property.

Restrooms and Shower Facilities

  • No dish washing in restrooms.

Reservation Policies

  • Site Cancellation Policy: Reservations canceled 7 or more days prior to arrival date may be subject to a $25.00 fee. Reservations that are canceled within 7 days of arrival date will potentially lose payment but may request a rain check if accepted for approval by management.
  • Cottage Cancellation Policy: Reservations that are canceled 10 or more days prior to your arrival may be subject to a 50% payment penalty. Reservations that are canceled within 10 days of arrival date will potentially lose payment but may request a rain check if accepted for approval by management.

Security Deposit

  • A $50 deposit will be held subject to an approved inspection of cottage upon check-out. Pet-friendly cottages require a $100 deposit, management approval.
